Hey y'all.  Thanks for dropping by Life's a Party, I'm so glad you're here!   I want to introduce myself: my name is Shae Schneider, and I am the owner of Life's a Party. I am a busy mom of three littles that are my whole world.  My family and I moved to Houston six years ago from California for my husband's job. I was determined I was going to be miserable after leaving California beaches and my amazing group of friends.  Turns out I was totally wrong, although I do miss the beach and my friends like crazy.  I love it here so much.  I have been so blessed to create a life here that I truly love, and wouldn't change it for the world. 

 

I started out as a hairstylist, but after realizing I wanted something more structured, I went back to school. I got my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Education and became a PE teacher and cheer coach, and loved every minute of it. In between school and work I was always involved in planning events and throwing parties for family and friends (You'd think I would have figured out sooner that that was truly my calling).  My husband then got a job that moved us to Houston which allowed me to be a stay-at-home mom.  Although I adore my babies, I also love to throw a good party!  With the support and love from my husband, he convinced me I should be following my dreams and make event styling for people other than friends and family a reality. Looking back, this truly has always been my passion, and I'm so grateful for the love and support from everyone around me who gave me the confidence to take the leap!
